This is a workmen's compensation suit. The plaintiff, Truly Horn, was injured while in the employ of defendant, Chester B. West, a sub-contractor of defendant Vancouver Plywood Company. West's workmen's compensation insurer, Parliament Insurance Company, paid plaintiff weekly compensation benefits for a period of twelve weeks and then ceased payment.
