Robert Ford was indicted for armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, § 18-2) and unlawful use of weapons (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, § 24-1(a)(2)). After a jury trial, he was found guilty of both crimes and sentenced to terms of 7 to 14 years for armed robbery and 1 to 3 years for unlawful use of weapons, with the sentences running concurrently.
