This is an appeal from the judgment of the circuit court of Peoria County finding defendant, Wesley Ward, guilty of violating section 11-20(a)(1) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 11-20(a)(1)) by selling two obscene publications. Defendant waived a jury and after bench trial was found guilty and sentenced to 1 day in jail and fined $200.
