This is an original habeas corpus proceeding. Vernon Douglas Sutherland, relator, was adjudged guilty of contempt for violating the terms of a prior divorce judgment by failing to pay his former wife one-half of the "retainer pay" received by him as a member of the Fleet Reserve.
