Floyd and Doretha Harris brought this diversity action to recover proceeds on a fire insurance policy by reason of the destruction by fire of their residence in St. Louis, Missouri. The policy was issued by Zurich Insurance Company, which denied the claim on the grounds that the loss was caused by arson committed by the policyholders.
