Beneficial Finance Company of St. Charles, Inc., plaintiff-appellant (hereinafter the plaintiff) appeals from a judgment of the Circuit Court of Lincoln County in a suit on a promissory note wherein the trial court at the close of plaintiff's evidence sustained the motion of defendant-respondent, John Trower (hereinafter the defendant) for a directed verdict on the grounds that the note sued on was usurious and therefore unenforceable and entered judgment...
