Defendant was charged in an indictment with carrying "concealed on his person a revolver" within 5 years of his conviction for a felony (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, pars. 24-1(a)(4)). Following a bench trial he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to a term in the penitentiary of 1 year and 1 day. On appeal he contends that (1) there was a "fatal variance" between the allegations...
