CALOGERO, Justice.

Defendant, Edward F. Reed, was charged by Bill of Information with the crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, marijuana. He was found guilty as charged by the trial court. He filed a motion in arrest of judgment which was denied. Thereupon he was sentenced to pay a fine of $150.00 or to serve 90 days in the Parish Prison and was further assessed a $35.00 cost of court or in default thereof an additional 30 days in the Parish Prison...
