Defendant-appellant Charles Cliett was charged with the grand larceny of 86 pigs. He was tried before a jury, found guilty, and sentenced to prison for a term not to exceed 5 years. Although several witnesses testified at trial, the reporter's transcript on appeal contains only the testimony of the appellant's ex-wife, who was called as a witness for the prosecution.
