Mr. PRESIDING JUSTICE JONES delivered the opinion of the court:

After a jury trial in the circuit court of Jackson County the defendant was convicted of the offenses of murder and solicitation to commit murder. The court imposed a sentence of not less than 25 nor more than 45 years' imprisonment for the crime of murder. No sentence was imposed for the offense of solicitation.
