The appellants Margaret Mackin and Erana Mae Gibson were convicted by a jury of first degree premeditated murder (22 D.C.Code § 2401), first degree felony murder (22 D.C.Code § 2401), and robbery (22 D.C.Code § 2901). The District Court sentenced each appellant to life imprisonment on each murder count and a term of three to fifteen years on the robbery count, all sentences...
