OPINION

LAYTON, District Judge.

On August 29, 1973, Wilmington Police Sergeants Landon and Campbell saw the Defendant driving a car which matched the description of an automobile the F.B.I. had reported stolen. The officers stopped the Defendant, placed him under arrest, and removed him to their car. Sergeant Landon then returned to the allegedly stolen car where he, as he testified, saw some clothing, a baby bassinet and something that looked like a wallet...
