This is an action at law in which plaintiffs, owner-operators of commercial trucks, seek money damages for breach of certain lease agreements with defendant Mitchell Bros. Truck Lines. Specifically, plaintiffs seek to recover federal highway use taxes and federal fuel taxes which were incurred in the operation of their trucks. They also seek to recover safety bonuses and permit load bonuses which they allege defendant orally agreed to pay. The case...
