The defendants-appellants, Falcon Coach Inc., Ed McDonald and Larry Jeffers, appeal from a default judgment rendered against them under the provisions of K.S.A. 60-237 (b) (2) (III), [now K.S.A. 1973 Supp. 60-237 (b) (2) (C).]. Judgment was not rendered against defendant Vern Altes.

The tortuous course of this litigation began on June 25, 1971...
