A jury found the defendant guilty of attempting to board an aircraft with concealed deadly and dangerous weapons on his person in violation of 49 U.S.C. § 1472(l). On January 24, 1973 the defendant made a cash purchase of a one-way ticket on North Central Airlines flight 427 from Cincinnati, Ohio to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
