Defendant is appealing the verdict and judgment finding defendant guilty of voluntary manslaughter pursuant to R. C. 2903.03. On January 13, 1974, Lonnie Hicks, a four month old child, was admitted to Ohio Valley Hospital where he died on January 17, 1974. The autopsy report attributed death to a subarachnoid hemorrhage due to a blunt injury to the left side of the head. There was no fracture of the skull.
