This is an appeal from an order of the United States District Court dismissing an amended complaint seeking recovery of unpaid interstate motor freight charges for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. We reverse.

The amended complaint alleges that plaintiff Madler is the assignee of the claim of Consolidated Freightways Corporation of Delaware (Consolidated) in the amount of $989.84 against defendant Lee Artoe Carbon Company...
