Defendant was found guilty by a jury of carrying a concealed weapon contrary to MCLA 750.227; MSA 28.424, was sentenced to two to five years in prison and appeals as of right.

The proofs adduced at trial showed that in the early morning hours of August 22, 1972 a plain-clothes police officer, while having a cup of coffee in an all-night restaurant, observed two men entering the establishment...
