The defendant, Sam Swan, Jr., was convicted by a jury of armed robbery, MCLA 750.529; MSA 28.797, and sentenced to 15 to 40 years in prison. He appeals as of right.

On appeal, the defendant raises three issues as error at his trial. He argues, first, that certain statements he made to an interrogating police officer were taken in violation of his constitutional rights and improperly admitted at trial. Second, he asserts that reversible error...
