Defendant, Ronald Smith, was convicted upon his plea of guilty of the crime of second-degree murder (MCLA 750.317; MSA 28.549) and sentenced to a term of life in prison. Defendant's motion to set aside his guilty plea was denied on December 19, 1972. On this appeal defendant presents several arguments urging this Court to set aside his guilty plea and also seeks a reduction in his sentence.
