Gibraltar Savings Association sued Robert E. Pine to recover a deficiency judgment after foreclosure of three deed of trust liens securing promissory notes executed in favor of Gibraltar by Mr. Pine. Mr. Pine filed a cross-action against Gibraltar for conversion of his water and sewer lines and for a breach of contract alleging damages in the amount of $450,000.
