On March 26, 1965, Donald V. Dumont, the petitioner here, was convicted of possession of heroin. The jury assessed his punishment at life imprisonment. He filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus, alleging the grounds brought here, in the convicting court. The petition was denied October 17, 1972.
