ROBERTS, Judge.

The conviction is for the offense of robbery with firearms; punishment was assessed at 30 years' confinement. Five grounds of error are raised on appeal; the sufficiency of the evidence is not challenged.

Appellant initially contends that the trial court erred in failing to comply with the mandatory provisions of Art. 26. 04, Vernon's Ann.C.C.P., in that there was no waiver of the 10-day period allowable for trial preparation...
