In 1962, Harold Houston, decedent, and his wife, Harriet Houston, entered into a marital settlement agreement. The couple was subsequently divorced, and the settlement agreement was incorporated into the divorce decree. Following the death of decedent in 1972, claimant, on the basis of the 1962 settlement agreement, filed claims against decedent's estate demanding "alimony" based on her life expectancy in the sum of $102,166.91 and medical and hospital...
