Gloria Jenkins, defendant, was charged by a criminal complaint with the offense of theft in violation of section 16-1(a)(1) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 16-1(a)(1)). After a bench trial, defendant was found guilty and sentenced to a term of one-year probation on condition that she serve ninety-days imprisonment...
