On July 18, 1969, plaintiff Dewey Hassler applied to the Social Security Administration for a period of disability and disability benefits. The Secretary of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare denied the application. Hassler commenced an action in the district court under Section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), for review of the final decision of the Secretary.
