Lowe Griffin was the owner of a subdivision lot with 50 feet frontage and 141 feet in depth in the City of Pompano Beach. The lot was improved by two structures, one a house on the front of the lot, the other a smaller house on the rear portion thereof. Griffin lived in the front house and rented rooms to tenants.
