This is one of four appeals which were consolidated for argument.1

In December 1965 respondent Ernest McNair was sentenced to imprisonment in State Prison for a term of 6-7 years for possession of narcotics. A fine of $1000 was also imposed on him. In June 1968 he was released on parole. On December 5, 1969 his parole was revoked without a hearing following his arrest in Burlington and Atlantic Counties on new separate...
