Defendants appeal from judgments and sentences entered on guilty pleas to the offense of bribery in violation of section 33-1 of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 33-1). Defendant Martin was given a 1-year sentence with a $4500 fine and defendant Meurlott was given a 1- to 3-year sentence with a $5000 fine.
