Rose Lee Chivers Williams (plaintiff) brought this action to remove a cloud upon the title to the land involved. Portland State Bank (Bank) filed a cross-action against plaintiff and Thurman Lee Williams (Williams), her former husband, to recover on a note and for foreclosure of its lien upon such land.
