Defendant was convicted on his plea of guilty of assault with intent to rob being unarmed, MCLA 750.88; MSA 28.283, was sentenced to a prison term of from 7-1/2 to 15 years and appeals as of right. The sole question on appeal is whether the trial court erred in denying defendant's request to withdraw his guilty plea, where said request was made prior to the imposition of sentence.
