Plaintiff, Gordon Coleman, filed a motion for judgment alleging that he sustained certain personal injuries as a result of the negligence of defendant, Charles E. High. In his grounds of defense, High asserted that he was free of negligence which was a proximate cause of the injury; that plaintiff was guilty of contributory negligence; and that plaintiff assumed the risk of injury. The jury returned a verdict in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $5,000...
