The question in this case is whether the will of Charles S. Archer, Sr. created a trust, and, if so, did the trustee take a fee simple title to real estate, with power to sell.

Mr. Archer died on 10 July 1963. He and his wife, who predeceased him by six weeks, owned a farm of some 122 acres in Harford County, and a relatively small amount of personal property. They...
