In October 1963 Glenn purchased from Ryan and Leachman, partners d/b/a Ankony Farms, a one-half interest in a 15 months old Aberdeen Angus bull, Ankonian Jupiter, for $125,000. Glenn made payments on the purchase price totalling $106,250, including interest. He refused to pay the balance of $33,144.84, and Ryan and Leachman sued him for this amount.1 As a defense and as a counterclaim for the amount he had paid...
