Plaintiff Louis J. Majesty bought his Mercury Comet automobile from Delta Mercury, Inc., of New Orleans on December 28, 1965. He and his wife instituted this action to recover damages alleged to have been sustained when the automobile purportedly broke apart and collided with an oncoming car on August 22, 1970. The suit was filed on August 20, 1971, three days prior to the expiration of the one year in which tort actions prescribe. La. Civil Code...
