SCOTT, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency in petitioners' Federal income tax for the calendar year 1968 in the amount of $722.77. The only issue for decision is whether petitioners may exclude the amount of $3,600 from their gross income for 1968 under section 117, I.R.C. 1954,1 such amount being a portion of the amount received during that year by John E. Hamacher as a general surgery...
