MOYLAN, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

This case involves the applicability of the confrontation clause of the Sixth Amendment, as fleshed out in Bruton v. United States, 391 U.S. 123, 88 S.Ct. 1620, 20 L.Ed.2d 476 (1968), to a delinquency hearing in the Juvenile Court of Baltimore City. The juvenile affected is the appellant, who shall be known herein as "John Doe."
