OPINION

DOUGLAS, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for murder. The jury assessed the punishment at life.

The appellant killed his wife, Rosetta Crawford, by shooting her with a gun. At the time of the homicide, they were separated. He was in the Air Force and was stationed at Big Spring. She was working at a nursing home in Waco. Appellant went to the nursing home and caused a disturbance. He got her outside and she went back into the building...
