On April 28, 1971, the Respondent entered a plea of guilty to one charge of armed robbery and three charges of third degree burglary in the Criminal Court for Davidson County, Tennessee, and received combined sentences totaling thirteen years imprisonment in the penitentiary. Thereafter on May 14, 1973, the Respondent filed a Petition for habeas corpus in the Criminal Court for Davidson County, Tennessee, which thereafter was amended...
