Defendant, Robert Dale Gray, appeals from judgment on jury verdict finding him guilty of rape, in violation of Code section 698.1. He first asserts his motion for directed verdict should have been sustained because the evidence did not establish beyond a reasonable doubt the act of intercourse was by force, without complainant's consent and that she resisted to her utmost ability.
