Locken, was charged with the offenses of battery, aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer in violation of the provisions of sections 12-3 and 31-1 of the Criminal Code. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, pars. 12-3 and 31-1.) He was found guilty in a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County on the resisting charge...
