MEMORANDUM OPINION

KEADY, Chief Judge.

On July 7, 1972, six black citizens of Humphreys County, Mississippi, filed this suit individually and as a class action on behalf of all black qualified and registered voters of the county and all black qualified candidates offering for county and district elective offices, seeking to set aside the general election held November 2, 1971, secure a new election, and obtain equitable relief for future elections.
