Harold Theodore Smith, appellant, during the course of his employment as a carpenter for Robert N. Pyles, Inc., one of the appellees, was injured when he fell. Appellant sustained a left intertrochanteric fracture. The fracture was reduced by the introduction of a Jewett nail inserted through the femur, the femur neck and partially into the head of the femur.
