This is a dispute over the ownership of 240 feet of lakefront land, triangular in shape, which arose as a result of a surveyor's error. Following a trial before the court without a jury, a written opinion and judgment dividing the disputed property between the parties was entered by the trial court.

Defendants Elliott were originally the sole owners of the land in question, "Government Lot 4". There is some disagreement as to the exact date...
