MENCHINE, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

In the course of an investigation of reports of a shooting, police discovered the body of Patricia A. Burkett in a wooded area near the 6000 block Amberwood Road, in the City of Baltimore. Autopsy showed that death resulted from three gunshot wounds of the head.
