Appellant was charged by a two-count information filed on March 27, 1973 with receiving and concealing stolen property (Count I) and with larceny (Count II). Both offenses were alleged to have occurred while appellant was incarcerated in the Duval County Jail. On May 7, 1973 appellant appeared before the trial court and requested leave to change his plea of not guilty to the second count of the information to a plea of guilty.
