The appellant was convicted on three counts of armed robbery in Fulton Superior Court on November 8, 1972. (For a prior appearance of this case in this court, see Shockley v. State, 230 Ga. 869 (199 S.E.2d 791)). The jury verdict imposed a sentence of 20 years on one count and 5 years on each of the other two counts but did not specify whether the sentences were to run consecutively...
