Defendant, Charles Robinson, was charged with the murder of Charles Tolbert. After a jury trial, he was found guilty of that crime and was sentenced to a term of 14 to 30 years. On appeal defendant contends that the trial court improperly permitted a rebuttal witness to be called as a court's witness and to testify to a collateral matter outside the scope of proper rebuttal...
