Indicted on April 5, 1973 for having taken "indecent liberties upon the sexual parts and organs" of his nine year old daughter (in violation of 17 M.R.S.A. § 1951), defendant in July of 1973 was tried before a jury in the Superior Court (Lincoln County) and found guilty as charged.
