Israel Whittaker was convicted by a jury's verdicts of three counts of first degree (armed) robbery. (Pen. Code, §§ 211, 211a.) As to each of the counts the jury found that in the commission of the offense he used a firearm. (See Pen. Code, § 12022.5.)
